Whats on your mind?

I was just having a chat with my mum the other day about being misinterpreted while talking to the opposite gender. I was telling my mum that when I talk to a guy or man I clearly feel that I am talking to another individual. But I really don't understand whats going on in their mind.

I don't adopt a different manner while speaking with guys/men and I guess that is one of the reasons that I could be misunderstood. We have a good time discussing the same and that things change after your guy friends get married. Usually their wives don't like the idea of them talking to their friends who are "women". And, even they start behaving in a different manner once they are married and I wonder why. I thought friends remain friends no matter what, now I am a bit confused.

I guess me being way too straightforward and not differentiating between the genders could be a cause of being misunderstood. Well, I do not understand such nuances of life but I guess each day I'm discovering a lot of new things while talking to many people. It is pretty interesting to meet people cause everyone is so different and I would love to know as many people as possible :-)
