I strongly believe that if you can't do good to anyone, stay away! Its better than harming or hurting someone. Just last evening we were having a conversation which actually involved me wanting to pass on some useful information to my friends. Just then, one person stressed on the fact that I am not going to gain anything from it.
I then thought of karma for some reason and explicitly stated that I believe in karma. Although, its not with an intention of attracting good things for myself. I find it very hard to be selfish and though others may find it ridiculous, its the truth!
There are many people I have met in my life who believe in treating others just the way they were treated. But, isn't it obvious that you do unto others as you would have them do unto you. I believe in showing people that I care for them and love them. And, if they don't reciprocate you just let it go but not at the cost of loosing your self respect. That is the thin rope you would have to walk and if you stumble don't give up.
In my lifetime itself I have seen wonderful things happening to me. When I look back I strongly believe that I have done something nice to deserve the best in my life.

Quit blaming
Have you ever blamed your circumstances or people around you because your life isn't as you wanted it to be??? I guess most of us would have at some point in our lives.
It isn't difficult to play the blame game and make others feel they are wrong. But, what about your conscience? Imagine the thoughts that would be going on in your mind while you look into a mirror. I have been on the receiving end of such blame games and out of my experience the best you can do is to remain silent. If the other person has made up his/her mind to blame you there is nothing that can stop them. Instead you have the freedom to choose your response to a given situation and that is enough.
Another commonly heard blame game is people blaming their fate, destiny, god, people around them etc etc for events in their lives. Come on people like anyone else is responsible for the decisions you take or mistakes you make. Even if there are other factors effecting from living your life to the fullest, it is because you let them too :-) If you know to work around those factors I'm sure your life is very simple.
Your life is as you want it to be just quit blaming anything or anyone for the way it is now. See everything falling in place once your are aware who the creator of your life is :-)

24
I had heard a lot about 24 and had to watch it. It was indeed something interestingly addictive. In the beginning I thought it was overrated. However, as I started watching the first season I began to understand how wrong I was. I can't forget the line "I'm Jack Bauer and this is the longest day of my life".
Agent Jack Bauer, Nina, Terri, Kim, Tony etc etc are the characters you will never forget and trust me I am terrible with names and I still remember their names even though its been awhile since I watched the first season. And who can forget the spectacular performance of Senator David Palmer and his wife Sherry.
You just cant get enough of this series as you are so curious to know what's in store. And even though I had heard a lot about it and had a lot of expectations, I wasn't let down.
If you still haven't watched 24, you should and believe me its totally addictive :-) Waiting to catch up on the next couple of seasons of 24.
